Excellia School celebrated Janmashtami on 1st September ’18in a peculiar way. The tableau in the front looked eloquent. The pre-primary students looked adorable decked up as Radha Krishna. The students decorated the Matka handi beautifully. Figurines of Lord Krishna looked mesmerizing.

The students presented a scintillating dance performance. Director Sir & ma’am Mr&Mrs Ashish Pathak, Principal Ms. Sonia Vardhan and General Manager Mr. Shekhar Varshney marked their presence to uplift the student’s morals. It was an enthralling performance which was enjoyed by everyone.

The programme concluded happily with the distribution of sweets to the children

Major Dhyanchand also was known as the wizard, the Magician of Hockey is considered as the greatest Hockey player in the history of the sport. His birthday on 29th August’18 was commemorated in Excellia School by showing a small documentary on his life. The students enjoyed the session. The facilitator of the school briefed the students about the life of Major Dhyanchand.

Excellia School organized rakhi celebration on 24th Aug ’18 with the Theme ‘together We Bond’.

The students prepared rachis to tie on each other’s wrists to live up to the theme of bonding together & giving the message of universal fraternity and respecting each, other.

The students prepared decorative and beautiful rakhis that were adorned with sparkles and glitters. The students tied rakhis to the Principal and the Management to show that the virtuous relation should be shared with everyone. The principal Ms.Sonia Vardhan appreciated the effort put in by the students in preparing them Rakhi Celebration 2018 rakhi’s and showing their zeal and high spirit for the activity.

Gaiety and Patriotic Fervor marked the nation’s Independence Day celebration at excelled school Lucknow. Amalgamation of various programmes represented in the manner to showcase the sovereignty of our Nation . The esteemed chairman, Mr. D.S. Pathak unfurled the flag and all in unison sang the National Anthem. The programme commenced with a patriotic dance performance expressing the joy of Independence.  Suyash   of  class 7th presented a speech. A scintillating Nukkad Natak was then presented by the students signifying the importance of the day. The speech by Navya of class 5th highlighted the achievements of India since Independence . The students of Pre-primary sang a patriotic song and told the significance of colours in National Flag. The students of Pre-Primary were dressed in saffron white and green. The director, Mr. Ashish Pathak imported words of wisdom by emphasizing blood donation and other such humanely work that could benefit the society by large. The principal Ms.Sonia Vardhan presented a vote of thanks and through her inspiring words focused on the role that we can play for bringing about  a change in the society. Plantation drive was also conducted on the day.

The students left on a happy note by receiving lads from the school.

 

Medication for deworming

Medication for deworming to its students on 10th Aug’18 as per the direction and guidelines given by Uttar Pradesh State Government. The Students were called along with their parents for administering the medicines as per their consent.

Dance Competition 2018

Excellia School held itself proudly when its students were selected in top ten participant teams in Bharti Sanskriti Utsav held on 9th Aug’18 at Sangeet Natak Academy. The students laid their best foot forward and enthralled everyone with their mesmerizing performance. The conclusion was given a patriotic feel for which they feel awarded certificates for a special performance.

Inter House Drawing Competition

Excellia School conducted Inter-House Drawing Competition for the students of classes   I-IV ON 4th August’18. The students took part enthusiastically in the competition and made beautiful drawings.

The Principal Ms. Sonia Vardhan applauded the students for showing the unwavering spirit and motivated them to always present true spirit while facing any competition.

Salad Competition 2018

Excellia School conducted an Inter House Salad –Dressing Competition from classes V- IX on 4th August’18. The students participated in the Competition with great zeal and gusto. The children prepared various figurines with Cucumber, Beetroot, Carrots and many others. All the four houses presented forth beautiful dressings. Tagore House emerged as the winning house with the second position bagged by Subhash House. The judgment was done based on various parameters like Creativity, Backdrop, Taste and Hygiene and Workmanship. The Principal Ms. Sonia Vardhan witnessed the event and presented the words of wisdom to those who could not bag the winning position by saying that participation matters more than winning.

GREEN DAY ACTIVITY 2018

Green Day Celebration (The colour of Prosperity and Harmony) Green Day was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm in the Pre-primary wing on 3rd August, 2018.The Playgroup, Nursery and K.G. students and teachers came to school dressed in pretty green attires and looked eco-friendly. Playgroup students performed a poem, show and tell activity had been conducted by class Nursery and K.G. Children wore cutouts of fruits and vegetable and spoke a few lines in front of the children. All the activities were conducted in the concept room. Teachers explained the importance of green colour. Acts of green conveyed the message that we should not cut trees and plant more and more trees. All the students of pre- primary performed saw dust activity in class.

The students of Excellia School were enthralled to witness the workshop on Origami on 3rd August’18 wherein they were demonstrated the ways to make Peacock structure, Qutub Minar, Flower among others. The students enjoyed the session to the core.

“Leadership is the capacity to translate vision into reality __”Warren Bennis” The investiture ceremony of Excellia School for the session 2018-19 was held with great pomp and dignity in a special ceremony (function) on 21st July’18. The event was presided our by the school Chairman Mr. D.S.Pathak, the Director Mr. Ashish Pathak, the Principal Ms, Sonia Vardhan and the General Manager Mr.Shekhar Varshney. The programme was conducted with high degree of earnestness and passion. The newly elected school council were conferred badges by the school dignitaries and then they took pledge to hold the school values to high esteem. The function concluded with School Song and National Anthem.

Dental Checkup 2018

“Every Tooth in a man’s head is more valuable than a diamond”

Holding true to the above said words, Excellia school organized a dental Check up camp on July 20, 2018. The doctors from Sardar Patel Post Graduate Institute of Dental and Medical Sciences Lucknow visited the school to conduct the check-up.

The students were then acquainted with the impact of Dental Health on Oral Health-related quantity of life. The students keenly Co-operated with them to know about their dental Health.

 

Brain Train Activity 2018

A brain training activity doesn’t always have to be exercise related. Yet at the same time trying out the various methods not only stimulate brain cells but also keeps you involved in multifarious activities.

Excellia School conducted train your brain activity on 20th July in which the teachers conducted interesting activities that kept the students engaged in them. The students engaged in them the students enjoyed the activity.

Yellow Day Celebration 2018

“Shades of yellow stimulates our little ones with energy ,happiness and optimism.”
With an objective to recapitulate and reinforce the effects of yellow colour ,Pre-primary wing celebrated “yellow day” on 20th july 2018.
A day dedicated to the yellow colour was marked with children dressed in different hues and tints of yellow. Children were not only beautifully dressed in their favourite yellow dress but also brought yellow objects to make it a complete “yellow day”.
Tiffins Filled with bananas , Custard ,mangoes ,pineapples, jelly, etc made the learning environment active.
The teachers were beaming with pride when the confident little commentators described the yellow objects with expressive and ease. They spent the day with utmost enjoyment.

Education is all about amalgamating studies and leisure together to create an aura of mindfulness. Excellia School organized puppet show for the students on 18/07/2018 therein the puppeteers presented fascinating acts with the puppets which kept the students spellbound. Along with playful activity they also present ate message of moral values for the students. The students had a goal time watching the puppet show. The entire programme was applauded by everyone were given gifts as a token of appreciation from school’s behalf.

The tiny toy also had their share of experience when they showed their gusts and prowess at the races. The toddlers participated with their great zeal. Their teachers were present beside them to witness the event and to motivate them. It was a wonderful sight to see how the young ones showed the spirit of sportsmanship.

Dance Trophy Excellia School 2018

Excellia School added another  feather of accolade to it’s hat when one of it’s student Khayati was declared the 1st Winner in Singing and dancing Auditions under 8 to 15 of age group which was conducted by Amit Flims and Entertainment on 25th May 2018.

The Principal Ms. Sonia Vardhan applauded the child and motivated other students as well hone their skills all roundedly.

Cyber Security Workshop Excellia School 2018

The students of Excellia School were acquainted with cyber security and network security through a workshop conducted by IT facilitators Ms Anamika Tripathi on 4th july 2018. The students were explained the concept due to prevailing method of unauthorized access of data and resources. They were briefed about securing their system, phones etc with the help of passwords or login security. The scope of this workshop was to guide the students about securing their information and protected use of technology and prevent any kind of harm that could be caused to them.

Informal Races- Excellia School 2018

Excellia school conducted informal races for the students from classes 1st to IX in which the students took part enthusiastically. The conduction of the sport was done class wise. The Winners were applauded. The Principal Ms Sonia Vardhan witnessed the event and motivated the students with her words of wisdom to culminate. The seeds of sportsmanship and how it helps in grooming the overall personality of the student.

Summer Camp at Excellia School

Excellia School organized summer camp for students up till 13 years of age from 21st to 31st May 2018 respectively. There were varied activities for children to engage in that they chose as per their age and choice. The duration kept for the camp was 2 hours in which for the first hour children chose a sport activity as per their discretion and the latter hour they participated in activities which included: science, mental maths, art/craft, best out of waste, music. For the children from 2.5 years till 7 years the activities included etiquette and mannerisms, maze and puzzles , art/craft, dance and storytelling.

The zeal of the students during summer camp was contained during the concluding ceremony on 31st May. The students stood in their respective cubicles to represent their learning implementations during these ten days at summer camp. The parents were really excited to see their children come up with fruitful learning outcomes. The Principal Ms. Sonia Vardhan took round and asked all the children about the activity they were presenting. The conclusion of the program was done with an enthralling dance performance and distribution of participation certificates and Excellia logo caps with the parents leaving on a happy note and appreciating the entire program.

Students Enjoyed the Movie “Inside Out” 2018

The students should always have a time wherein they break away the monotony and enjoy some leisure time also. Hence the students of Excellia School were shown the movie “Inside Out “ on 16th May,2018 which was on the life of an eleven year old girl adjusting to the humdrums of the life in another city.

The students enjoyed the movie to the core and also understood the values one needs to follow so that adjustment could be made anywhere. The intention of showcasing such movies is to inculcate the life skills in the students to accommodate anywhere and come out with flying colours.

Organ Donation Workshop 2018

Organ donation is a “testimony of love for our neighbor.”-Pope Francis

A workshop on Organ Donation was conducted for the students of Grade I to IX in the Excellia School on the 11th of May,2018 by Mrs. Deepa Singh. In this workshop emphasis was laid on the significance of organ donation in saving lives.

The students were made aware about live donation and Cadaver donations. They were also communicated about organs which can be donated like Heart, Kidney, Lungs,Liver and Eyes(Cornea) .In the session procedures of organ donation were also covered.

The students were explained concept of brain death, Donor Vs Recipient ,Organ Donation Vs Body donation and the reasons for shortage of organ donors in a simplified manner.

The students were inquisitive about the reasons for lesser number of organ donation .They also asked numerous questions on the role play of state government and the steps taken to increase the count of Organ Donation.
The Teacher responded to all their queries with ease and ensured that all their doubts were well answered , thereby making the session more interactive .

The students found the workshop very informative and appreciated the simple tools used for communication . The workshop concluded on a positive note -“Organ Donation is all about giving life to someone”
