It was an overwhelming experience for Excellia fraternity when the school got the
award for BEST EMERGING SCHOOL in Lucknow in a survey that was conducted
by Times Cyber media Private Ltd.
The award ceremony was organized in New Delhi on 28 th Jan, 2018. The award
was given by honorable cabinet minister (Sports and Youth Welfare, Commercial
Education and Skill development ), and ex cricketer Mr. Chetan Chauhan. Mr.
Chauhan is a former cricketer who played 40 test matches for India. He was a
appointed chairman of NIFT from 2016 to 2017.He was also elected twice as a
Member of Parliament , elected to Lok Sabha.
There were eleven schools nominated for the category which was bagged by
Excellia School. The Chairman of the school Mr. D. S . Pathak and the Director Mr.
Asheesh Pathak were present for the felicitation ceremony. The Director whilst
thanking everyone presented a compendious of the school and accepted the award with verve and gaiety.

Divyansh Pandey got 1st Rank in Under-9 State Chess Championship
It was a proud moment for #ExcelliaSportsAcademy to have yielded the top ranker in under 09 state chess championship. #DivyanshPandey of #ExcelliaSportsAcademy secured 1st rank in under 09 state chess championship. #ExcelliaSchool’s Director Mr. Asheesh Pathak and Principal Ms. Sonia Vardhan felicitated him and congratulated the coach Mr. Ravi Shankar for guiding Divyansh in achieving his goal.

TEACHERS’ DAY CELEBRATIONS AT EXCELLIA
The students of Excellia School surprised their teachers by organizing a wonderful programme. The programme flagged off with the cake cutting done by the teachers proceeded with a comical skit which contained the moral as well that was laid well by them. The students presented a wonderful dance performance which was applauded well by teachers. The programme also saw the titles conferred to the teachers and felicitation of the teachers for their efforts and achievements in the previous. Finally the whole event concluded with a group song presented by the students dedicated to their teachers and a group photograph of the entire teaching staff.

EXCELLIA SPORTS ACADEMY INAUGURATION 7th JUNE 2017
Excellia school celebrated its inaugural ceremony of the sports academy on 7th june 2017 with great zeal and fervor. Honorable chief guest Mr. Shyam Sunder Mishra, Regional sports officer, Sports department,UP, inaugurated the academy and appreciated the efforts of the academy towards the development of sports. The chairman Mr. D.S. Pathak felicitated the chief guest and presented a momento on the event.

Earth Day Celebration on 22nd April 2017
Excellia School celebrated Earth Day on April 22, 2017. A special assembly was conducted which was followed by a short skit that focused on the issues related to our environment and our responsibilities towards it. Excellia School also conducted poster making competition and the cheerful students tried their best to give an impression of their thoughts and imagination regarding the day.

The chess championship was organised jointly by UP Chess Sports Association, Excellia Sports Academy and Lucknow District Chess Academy. The Students of Excellia School won gold medals and made the school proud. The name of medal holders were as follows Aditya Raj Yadav of class 8th , Sameeksha Sood of class 8th, Abdul Raqib Khan of class 2nd, Keshav Mittal of class 1st and Aaradhya Garg of class 3rd.

UP State Lucknow Zone Yoga Sports Championship 2017
The students of Excellia School brought laurels in UP State Lucknow Zone Yoga Sports Championship 2017. Niyati Yadav of class 6th won bronze in athletic yoga and gold in free flow dance yoga, Kashika of class 6th won gold in athletic yoga and free flow dance yoga, Ishita of class 5th won gold in athletic yoga and free flow dance yoga, sourabh of class 7th won silver in athletic yoga and gold in free flow dance yoga, ayushi of class 8th won silver in athletic yoga and gold in free flow dance yoga.
