Day 6 at Excellia School Summer Camp
Imparting Awareness on the Canvas about Deaddiction of Substance abuse.
To make the student aware about the harmful effects of intoxicants, an awareness program was organised in Excellia School on 27th may 2023 in collaboration with the representative of Lucknow Vyapar Mandal.
The students prepared colourful posters related to the theme. They took the oath to refrain themselves from taking any sort of intoxicant.
The students were given certificates for their active environment in this campaign. The Principal Mrs. Priyanka Dubey thanked Ms. Niharika and her team to come up with this campaign and to make the students aware about ill effects of all the intoxicating things.
Day 5 at Excellia School Summer Camp
Pleasant weather infused the students with full energy and vigour who turned up with enthusiasm to attend the fifth day of Summer Camp. Right from putting their best foot forward on dance numbers to making colourful sandwiches in non fire cooking all, the students enjoyed their day to the full list and the activities they were enrolled in the easily away there next way at the camp.

Third day at Excellia School’s summer camp was filled with fun and frolic. The students enjoyed their dance sessions, art and craft, non-fire cooking sessions along with chorus and dramatics to name a few.
Sports classes were all packed to the fullest showcasing student’s zeal to take up their sessions with full energy and vigour.

BEACH PARTY AT EXCELLIA SCHOOL
To beat the heat and cool off Excellians.
A pool party was organized at Excellia School, Omaxe city, Lucknow of
Pre-primary on 19 th May’23. Kids had a gala time, tapping their little
hands and feet, bubbling & splashing water all around.
Little angels filled the poolside with their giggles and laughter. Children
were thrilled to be in pool. They enjoyed a lot with their clay mates.
The motive behind organising the party was to develop their motor skills,
improve their eye hand co-ordination and develop their gross motor skills
through running, dodging, looping and sprinkling.

“A good story can imbibe the right values in the most impressionable age”.
Brightening the day of the students with wonderful stories a story telling session
was conducted where life and expression was in abundance.
As a learning tool, story telling can encourage students to explore their unique
expressiveness. To encourage the skill of listening and reading a story telling
session on “the lion and the mouse” by the pre primary teachers was organised
in Excellia School Omaxe City Lucknow on 12th May 20 23. It was an
interactive session which was thoroughly enjoyed by the students.

MOTHER’S DAY CELEBRATION
“Mother is the name for God in the lips and hearts of little children”.
The day that recognizes the essence of a mother was celebrated in high spirits and merriment at Excellia School on 11th May 2023. This being one of the those occasion that none of us can a afford to miss was zealously enjoyed by one and all the children irrespective of nationalities, castes, cultures and genders have emotions binding them to their mothers.
Keeping this bonding emotion in mind the Primary section had something more special and unique to bring a smile on their beloved mother’s face .They passionately got involved in making short video clippings expressing heartfelt gratitude and love for their mother.
The students of Junior and Senior section enthusiastically prepared beautiful greeting cards for their mothers. It was the pleasure watching that dynamic and energetic children preparing something special. The outcome of their efforts was marvellous. Each card was special and different in its own way.
All in all it was an enjoyable and memorable day for each and every child which left an individual mark on the innocent hearts.
“Mother will be our door to Paradise, so let’s love, respect and care for our mother everyday”.
LABOUR DAY CELEBRATION AT EXCELLIA SCHOOL
“A worker is a creator and a great asset to every nation”
International Labour Day or May Day is celebrated every year on May 1 in a bid to promote the rights of the working class and prevent them from exploitation.
The theme for Labour Day is “A safe and healthy working environment as a fundamental principle and right at work”. Excellia School honoured the hard work and dedication of the helping staff by organising Labour Day celebration on 6th May 2023.
The support staff were conferred some interesting titles. The Principal Mrs. Priyanka Dubey expressed her gratitude to all the helping staff and also said that proper functioning of the school is not possible without them.
The staff were engaged in fun games wherein they were felicitated by the advisor Mr. Praveen Pandey and General Manager Mr. Shekhar Varshney.
The event concluded with happy faces of the staff while they enjoyed every second of the event organised for them.
Activity On Save Environment-2023
The students of class III enthusiastically engaged themselves in a class based activity of Social Science on the theme “Importance of Environment”.
The instructor Ms. Swati Gupta enjoyed making bags from newspaper. They were encouraged to indulge in the habit of 3R’s- Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. The students thoroughly enjoyed the session.The students of class III enthusiastically engaged themselves in a class based activity of Social Science on the theme “Importance of Environment”.

LEARNING BY DOING
“Everything is theoretically impossible until it is done.”
Staying in sync with the quote, hands on activity was conducted for the students of grade III in science subject wherin the students were asked to make first – aid boxes. Through this activity students learnt basic concepts more clearly. Such an activity helped develop analytical skills of students.
The facilitators Ms. Sapna Dubey ensured that learning by doing activity was conducted properly because it is a better way to learn than conventional lecture method.
Interschool Rangoli making and quiz competition 2023
Excellia School hold itself proud again to mark excellence in Interschool rangoli making and quiz competition by bagging first position in Rangoli Making and third position in Quiz respectively. The competition was organised at Babasaheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar University to mark the “International Day of Immunology” wherein schools from all across the district participated. Professor Himanshu Kumar from Biological Sciences, IISER, Bhopal and Professor Sudhir Mehrotra, Head of Department of Biochemistry, University of Lucknow were the honourable speakers and Dr G. Sunil Babu was the convener at the competition. The presentation of the student’s at the competition was appreciated by all. The Principal Mrs Priyanka Dubey congratulated the students and the mentors Ms Subuhi Akhtar and Mr Manoj Singh and wished them luck for future endeavors.
Orientation Session at Excellia School 2023
Excellia School conducted an orientation session for the students from grade VI onwards who had qualified in Excellia School Talent Search Examination (ESTSE), the qualifying test to enroll the students in Excellia My Career Care Programme.
The mentor Mr. Manoj Singh congratulated the students for qualifying the exam. He further shared the details of the free of cost knowledge imparting programme and the benefits that they all would reap from this programme.
E=MC2 is a special career guidance programme initiated under the vision of Mrs. Shalini Pathak, who is the director of the programme. The aim is to provide guidance and prepare the students for future competitive exams by giving them hands on training under the mentorship of trained professionals Mr. Manoj Singh, Mr. Anoop Singh and Mr. Abhishek Pandey.
The students attended the orientation session intently and optimistically look forward for the conduction of classes which would commence from 24th April 2023 (Monday).
Earth Day 2023
With the fear of global warming, looming large above mankind, we need to sanitize the young brigade about the atrocities meted out to Mother Earth. Student at Excellia School celebrated the Earth day on 21st April, 2023 with a Myriad of activities.
In an effort to spread awareness with regard to the calamitous degradation of the environment our tiny tots of Pre -primary did a fine motor skill activity (colouring), Classes I-VIII were engaged in some amazing sketching activity and a plantation drive was initiated by the students of class IX-XII who planted sapling in the school premises. The day was observed with much fervour and zeal.

Excellia School’s Student Nithya Sre bagged 3 medals in Thailand
The student of Excellia School Nithya Sre bagged 2 silver and 1 bronze medal in International Para Badminton Championship held in Thailand making the heads of Lucknowites held high with proud and honour.
The championship was held in Pataya from 9 to 14 May in which Indian Para Badminton team bagged 16 medals out of which 4 were gold, 4 silver and 8 bronze respectively.
All the three medals which Nithya won were in SH-6 category. In women singles she scored 21-11,18-21,16-21 against China’s Lin Shuangbao whereas in doubles she paired with Rachna Patel to grab silver medal . She had wonderful last 4 matches paired with India’s Shivrajan wherein they were defeated in semifinals by China’s Lin Naili and Lin Faingmi with 12-21, 21-15, 17-21.
Prior to this championship Nithya had also won gold and silver medals at Victoria Gusteez in Spain that was held between 20th to 26th February2023 respectively in which Nithya under SH -6 category in women double finals paired with Peru’s Rubi Milagras Fernandes defeated Poland’s Dariya Bujnika and Olivia Smigal with 21-6, 21-3. In singles finals Nithya faced defeat from Indonesia’s Rina Marlins from 8-21,15-21.
Nithya is presently grade XII student at Excellia School and is trained under Dronacharya awardee Mr Gaurav Khanna in Gaurav Khanna Excellia Badminton Academy. Her coach Mr Gaurav Khanna is optimistic for her performance in Bahrain. Excellia School’s Director Mr Asheesh Pathak ,Principal Mrs Priyanka Dubey expressed their wishes on her commendable performance and wished her well for future endeavours.
Circle of Excellence at Excellia School
Excellia School added another feather to its excellence award by bagging Shiksha-padam award 2023.
Dr. Atul Srivastava, President of Association of Private Schools Uttar Pradesh felicitated the school’s Director Mr. Asheesh Pathak with the award for showcasing exemplary contribution in Education.
Mr. Pathak extended his award to all the members of the Excellia fraternity for helping in achieving the award.
Acknowledging the Efforts
Thomas Edison rightly quoted that “Genius is one percent inspiration and ninety -nine percent perspiration”, and to acknowledge the hard work and perseverance of students who put in their sweat and blood during Board examination, Excellia School felicitated school topper Sachin Shukla of class XI who scored 96% in Class X, 2022-23.
The Director Mr. Asheesh Pathak, Principal Mrs. Priyanka Dubey, Director EMCC Mrs. Shalini Pathak and Advisor Mr. Praveen Pandey presented a scholarship cheque of Rs. 75000 to Sachin. His father Mr. Krishna Kumar Shukla was overwhelmed and thanked the facilitators for their unending support.

Graduation Ceremony at Excellia School
Graduation day is a wonderful way to end a school year. To make it memorable, Excellia School organized Graduation Day Ceremony for the young and enthusiastic learners of pre-primary on 23rd March 23, 2023.
The occasion was graced by Mr. D.S Pathak, Chairman of the School, Mrs. Shalini Pathak, Director of EMCC, Principal Mrs. Priyanka Dubey and General Manager Mr. Shekhar Varshney.
The program commenced by lamp lighting, the students presented Saraswati Vandana to evoke the blessings of goddess Saraswati. After this the students of class Playgroup and Nursery presented an enthralling dance performance and mesmerized everyone which was again followed by students of class K.G presenting self introduction and a dazzling dance performance.
The Class teacher of class K.G Mrs. Chaitali Dass presented a speech in front of everyone to connect her feeling through words and congratulate them.
The Principal Mrs. Priyanka Dubey has given special vote of thanks to everyone and instilled a few words to imbibe the feeling of self motivation in the children.

The students were distributed report cards from their respective classes with a refreshment to mark their last academic year of the session on a happy note.
