Saraswati Pujan At Excellia School 2022

“Life is to learn, May Goddess Saraswati’s divine blessings help you learn and pass life’s tests with ease.” 

Basant Panchami is an occasion which marks the advent of the spring season and is also celebrated to worship Goddess Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge and wisdom. This auspicious day was celebrated at Excellia on 5th Feb’22 with great enthusiasm. The Principal Mrs. Sonia Vardhan with the entire staff of Excellia School rendered prayers to goddess Saraswati. 

The teachers came dressed up in yellow coloured attires, to mark the importance of the day. The significance of Saraswati pujan was also explained to the students during online session. The commencement of the day on a positive note made the day sail through in a happy and optimistic way. 

COVID-19 VACCINATION CAMP AT EXCELLIA SCHOOL 2022

Lucknow. COVID-19 vaccination camp was organized at Excellia School on 13th January 2022 for children aged 15 – 18 years. 

A Team of Para-Medical staff administered the vaccine to the children which included Excellia School students and the children residing in the vicinity of the campus. Awareness was created among the students on the rapid spread of the infection and the precautionary measures to be taken. The parents accompanied their children at the camp who were administered the dose post showing their Aadhaar Card. 

Excellia School staff showcased their full support and ensured that the school children turned up to get their doses administered. 

TEACHER TRAINING AT EXCELLIA🏆2022

The teachers at Excellia School were imparted training to hone their technical skills. The training was scheduled in two slots so that OMR and App-based knowledge could be inculcated properly. The virtual training session was conducted on 13th Jan22 so that teachers could benefit from it at large. 

Republic Day Celebration at Excellia School 2022

Republic Day is celebrated every year on 26 th January marking India’s 

anniversary of implementation of constitution of India. 

Excellia school celebrated Republic day with much festive and fervour. The 

zeal of the day was not hampered in any circumstance as every student joined through virtual mode. The facilitators and every employee were present in the school abiding COVID-19 norms. The program commenced with salutation to the great day and remembering all those who made it possible for the citizen of the nation to celebrate this day. Post to which Ms. Divya Tripathi presented a speech, group chorus of patriotic song “सारे जहाँ से अच्छा” by school facilitators 

filled the air with much needed enthusiasm. The Director Mr. Asheesh Pathak addressed the students and spoke about the importance of the day. The Director of E=MC 2 Mrs. Shalini Pathak, Principal Mrs. Sonia Vardhan , General manager Mr. Shekhar Varshney , Advisor of Excellia School Mr. Praveen Pandey were all present to celebrate the day with Excellia school’s teachers and all working staff. The program conducted with unfurling of the national flag by the Director Mr. Asheesh Pathak followed by national anthem.

Independence Day Celebration at Excellia 2021

Indias 75th Independence Day was celebrated with full festive and fervor at Excellia School. The glory of the nation was sung by the students and teachers alike whilst the live streaming of the function was done to ensure everyone takes the flavour of the function. The program commenced with the speech presented by Aditya Raj of class XII. The senior wing students presented patriotic song and mesmerized everyone. The teachers also kept the zeal of the day with the presentation of the patriotic song Jai Jan Bharat. The Director of the School Mr. Asheesh Pathak  & the Principal Mrs. Sonia Vardhan wished everyone greetings of the great day whilst Sir spoke on the importance of the day. Post the flag hoisting, the day concluded with singing of National Anthem and distribution of sweets. 

Programme for Noble Cause at Excellia School 2021

With this noble thought, Excellia welcomed Lt. Col Hariram Ojha, husband of Dr Aahuti Ojha Founder and Chairperson of Foresee India Foundation and Shri Syed Faizi, General Secretary of the foundation who paid visit the school to shower gifts to the children whom the school and the foundation consider as precious pearls to the society. The Foresee India Foundation is an NGO based in Lucknow, which is dedicatedto the cause of social welfare, environmental and ecological conservation. The aim was to felicitate the students from a humble background with some gestures that are kind enough and morally uplifting so as to ensure that they feel belonged to. The Principal Mrs Sonia Vardhan expressed her gratitude to Col. Ojha and Mr. Faizi for sparing the time out their precious time and sharing their words of wisdom. The school’s General Manager Mr Shekhar Varshney was also present with the Principal and the teachers to welcome the dignitaries of the day.  

Excellia School-Teachers Day Celebration 2021

Teachers day is that time of the year when teachers let their hair down and enjoy the day from the core .Be it students or the school management, everyone make sure that the teachers are acknowledged for all the hard work they put in all the year round . To make the day special,Excellia school honoured the efforts of teachers by celebrating teachers day on September 4, 2021.   

The celebrations began by honouring the Principal Mrs Sonia Vardhan with the special appreciation “Education Warriors” award which the school received on September 3,2021 by the Deputy CM Dr Dinesh Sharma. The award was received by the Director of the school Mr Asheesh Pathak who dedicated it to the Principal and the teachers for keeping abreast with the changing times and ensuring quality education to the students during pandemic.   

The program proceeded further with the Vice Chairperson of the school Mrs Manju Pathak felicitating the pillars of the school Mr Praveen Pandey, Head of Excellia Sports Academy, Mr Shekhar Varshney, General Manager, Mrs Sonia Vardhan, Principal.   

The Director of integrated career program (EMCC) of the school Mrs Shalini Pathak felicitated the teachers for their hard work and dedication. To honour the teachers who completed more than five years with the organisation, the school felicitated them with special award. The day concluded on a happy note with special gift and treat for the teachers to make them feel special.

Awards and recognitions have always been the moral enhancers for everyone as we all need motivation at some point of time in our lives. Everyone feels great for what they are doing and remain focussed towards their aim and strive hard to excel. 

Excellia School also had the privilege when the Director Mr Asheesh Pathak, received the appreciation award by The Times of India Group, for the school’s significant contribution in the field of education.  

The Education Warrior award was presented by Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Dr Dinesh Sharma on September 3rd.2021.  

The recognition was given considering a few parameters which was surveyed by the Times Group to those who changed the face of education during the pandemic so as to inculcate students’ friendly approach and take teaching learning process to the higher realms. The survey consisted of the norms such as digitalised teaching learning process so that the education of the children was not hampered along with skill based approach. The school had always taken extra steps to ensure all round development of the students and enhance their skill sets and thus for that matter homes different academies for different sports like Gaurav Khanna Excellia Badminton Academy where the Paralympic players have managed their practice sessions even during the peak of pandemic when the school managed a bio-secure bubble for them. For cricket enthusiasts, the school has opened Abhijit Sinha Cricket Academy, along with Athletics ground, Lawn Tennis, Football, Table-Tennis to name a few. 

Academics have always been the prima facie for the school’s aim and approach as the students are the reflections of what they learn at home away from home. Even during pandemic education did not take a back seat and the blended approach of teaching was adapted with new ways and means with which the teachers who have been the true warriors during the difficult times, managed to make teaching fun based learning for the school. The Director Mr Asheesh Pathak owed this to the true Education warrior’s i.e. the teachers and the Principal Mrs Sonia Vardhan who successfully managed the school’s performance during these testing times. 

Excellia Celebrates the Birth Anniversary of Our Nation Builders 2021

Staying in tune to the words of the father of our nation, Excellia  School organised a special assembly for the students on 2nd October  

to mark the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri ji.  

The purpose of assembling them was to educate the students about the importance of the day and why it is observed as national holiday every year. The program commenced by offering the garlands to the two great leaders of the nation.  

The facilitators spoke about the importance of the day, post which essay writing and poster designing was organised in which the students presented their best forms. The famous lines of India’s  

former prime minister Lal Bahadur Shastri “Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan”  

were highlighted to reinforce his great thoughts.  

The Director of E=MC2 Mrs Shalini Pathak was present along with  the staff and students of Excellia School to mark the importance of  

the day.

Imparting respect for the girls in the Boys workshop 2021

Girls are the future. They are the face of the society. Without them the existence of mankind will vanish.  

Thus, to mark the importance of the girls, Girl child Day was observed in Excellia School on 8th October 2021 (i.e. Friday). 

Two separate workshops was conducted by the facilitators, one for girls and one for boys. It was ensured that issues pertaining the society related to females was addressed appropriately. 

Boys were also acquainted about the ills of the society due to the crippled mind set of certain people. Which resulted in the manipulation of females all over the nation. 

The girls were addressed on the issues which dealt with their safety, health and hygiene. An hour long workshop concluded on an educating note taken well by all the students. 

Girl Child Day Celebration 2021

Smiling face of each and every girl child is the mark of God’s presence.  

A girl child is the pride and future of a nation. The Excellia School celebrated the International Girl Child Day with the theme – “Digital Generation – Our Generation”.  

The facilitators had an interactive session with the girls and the boys of the school. They highlighted the need for a girl child to be educated. They also focused that the girls should be equipped with the safety measures and should have their voice for equal rights.  

In the present scenario with the advancement of technology in almost every sphere, the girls should also be technically educated to shape their dreams.  

It was an enlightening session for the students who came to know that the mutual respect is the key to a healthy and vibrant society.  

Workshop on Self Defence 💪2021

“Never chase opportunities. Let it come to you by creating value and building rare skill sets.”

Skill sets are a valuable asset that a person retains all his life. Skill set development is not just an art, instead it is the cultivation of a seed that upon nurturing yields abundant crop.  

To instill these invaluable things in students, offline session on incorporation of day to day important skills commenced in Excellia School from 20th Oct’21.  

The session of self-defense for the students was conducted by the facilitators to teach the students about safety protocols. The objective of the session was to ensure that the students must be aware and alert about their surroundings as vigilance is the key to their health and safety.  

Workshop on Oral Dental Hygiene 2021

Dental Hygiene is an important part of keeping one’s body healthy. Keeping this in mind Dr. Priya Sharma was invited to Excellia School on 28th October for an interactive session for our students.   

She recommended some of the major steps which one should follow regularly such as   

– Brushing the teeth twice a day.  

– Replace toothbrush every 3 to 4 months, if the bristles are frayed.  

– Practice a regular oral health care routine.  

The session covered a little more intense topics for the higher classes as what is the role of saliva, the importance of a healthy diet in relation to: Teeth/ General health and what are the different types of teeth and many more.  

The children were fascinated to learn about the effective oral-health practices. By the end of the session the children promised to take good care of their teeth. 

Halloween Day Celebration at Excellia School 2021

Shadows of a thousand years rise again unseen, voices whisper in the trees, ‘Tonight is Halloween!’

Halloween is celebrated on October 31st every year. It marks the day before the Western Christian feast of All Saints or All Hallows.  

Excellia School initiated the day’s celebration on 30th October’2021, to make the students enjoy the day and feel rejuvenated to ensure they carry with their academics with full zeal. The students were all decked up in lovely Halloween costumes. To instill motivation in the students the students who were dressed as per the theme. From the primary wing Hiba Naqvi of class IV bagged the 1st prize with Anusha Jha of class II bagging the second position. 3rd position was bagged by Pragvansh Tiwari of class I. Consolation Prizes were given to Zikra Umar of class I and Kashvi Ahuja of class II respectively.   

From the junior and senior wing Akshat Singh of class VIII bagged the 1st position while Aarav Singh of class X, Abdul Raquib Khan of class VI bagged 2nd and 3rd positions. Consolation Prizes were given to Prabhanshu Mishra and Saksham Giri of class VI respectively.  

Principal Mrs.Sonia Vardhan explained the day’s importance as to why it is celebrated and then distributed the prizes to the winners.  

DIWALI FESTIVITIES FOR EXCELLIA STAFF 2021

Diwali being the festival of lights is one of the biggest and grandest festivals celebrated mainly in India. Excellia school wanted to make the Diwali special for its fraternity especially as the school resumes it normal self after 2 Year of covid lockdown. Thus to instill the spirit of festivities the management distributed Diwali gifts to all its employees including grade four employees. This small gesture infused everyone with positivity and happiness. 

DIWALI CELEBRATION FOR EXCELLIA STUDENTS 2021

“ALL HIGHTS OF THE WORLD CANNOT BE COMPARED EVER TO A RAY OF THE INNER LIGHT OF THE SELF. MERGE YOURSELF IN THIS LIGHT OF HIGHTS AND ENJOY SUPREME DIWALI” 

Diwali is the festival which is enjoyed by one and all not just in india but by indians all over the world. It is the festival of lights, to remove the gloom within and illuminate our inner self with positivity and good will to celebrate the festival of lights; excellia school organized diya decoration and rangoli making competition for the students of primary wing and senior wing respectively. The students participated with full zeal and enthusiasm. The competition was conducted is inter-house pattern so that the students could indulge is the spirit of healthy competition amongst each other. Each house presented forth their best creativity and picturesque design. The principal mrs. Sonia vardhan appreciated the way students showed their best efforts. 

The competition saw raman house being declared as the winning house with tagore house on 2nd position, 3rd was bagged by subhash house and ashoka house on 4th position. 

Childrens Day 2021

“Children are the gifts of god, let them fly with their thoughts.”  

November 14 is celebrated as Children’s Day (also called Bal Diwas) in our country and the occasion also commemorates the birth anniversary of Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India. The day is a reminder that every child deserves education, nurturing, and the best of everything. They are the building blocks of the nation and hence, the future of the nation depends on how well they are brought up.  

A day marking childhood, and to make this event a memorable for our little one, Excellia School celebrated Children’s Day on 12th November 2021 in the school premises. The day focussed on children and their enjoyment. The day commemorated with immense joy, enthusiasm and magnificence. The celebrations began with the Morning Prayer, followed by variety of fun filled activities and games planned by the teachers for the children.   

The sports teacher made Children’s Day special by involving the children into various games like ring-balancing race, shuttle race, balloon race, lemon race etc. according to the various classes. All the children were given chocolates and some valuable gifts as a token of love from the school. The students were overwhelmed and had cheerful smiles on their faces.   

At last the enthusiasm of the students was boosted up by screening up English movies in the concept room. The children enjoyed the entertaining animation and expressed their excitement as this came as a pleasant surprise to them.  

Orientation for Board Students at Excellia School 2021

Citing changing pattern of Board Examination especially for Term-I examination, where the pattern of the paper is of objective type, the Principal of Excellia School Mrs. Sonia Vardhan conducted an informative session for class X and Class XII board students on 16th November 2021 Tuesday, informing them about the ways and means to fill the answer booklets in OMR sheets, she informed the students about all the information starting from entry at the exam center to what all things a child must carry at the center. The session was interactive and highly enlightening for the students as all the doubts and queries were warded off by the Principal.  

READING SESSIONS AT EXCELLIA SCHOOL 2021

“The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you will go” – Dr. Seuss 

Reading is not just an exercise, it is a habit which must be dwelled in a child right from the time he learns to comprehend things. It is because learning to read is about listening and understanding to exercise our 

comprehension abilities. It fires up our imagination and stimulates the memory. 

Therefore, it is imperative for everyone to develop the reading habits. Keeping the importance of reading in mind Excellia School ensures regular reading sessions to have students’ reading skills. The government’s initiatives of “Padhdhe Lucknow, Badhdhe Lucknow” conducted on first of every month enhances the efforts of the school to raise the academic standard of every child. 

The Reading Theme for the month of December was “Environment and Pollution” in which the teacher’s discussed on the importance of maintaining a pollution free environment and the need for sustainable development to have a better future for everyone. 

Excellians Celebrating the Spirit of Joy 2021

Christmas is the festival that not only teaches us to live with harmony and love but also reminds us to inculcate the virtue of sharing and helping the poor, needy , and the destitute. 

The month of December is eagerly awaited for the Christmas festivities. The students at Excellia School celebrated Christmas with great enthusiasm and fervor. The School distributed the chocolates and sweets among the students and staff members.  

The tiny tots were decked up in the attire of Santa, various activities in the form of competitions were conducted for the students namely –  

Class I – III – Christmas Carol 

Class IV – VII – Gift Wrapping 

Class VIII –XII – Cake Making. 

Christmas brings cheer and smiles to everyone’s faces and it was celebrated with the same spirit spreading the message of love and joy among the children.
