Activity-based learning was conducted for the students of Grade II, wherein students learnt about water filtration process. Activity based learning enhances understanding, improves retention, fosters critical thinking, boosts engagement, encourages collaboration, caters to different learning styles, and builds confidence by involving students in hands-on, practical tasks.

Excellians Triumphs in Swimming and Badminton Competition in Clusters

Excellia school is thrilled to announce two recent achievements that showcase the exceptional talent and dedication of our students. Firstly, Ansh Khurana has emerged victorious in prestigious CBSE Zonals swimming competition held at Orai demonstrating remarkable skill and perseverance. Ansh’s outstanding performance not only highlights his personal dedication but also brings pride to our school community. His commitment to excellence and rigorous training have truly paid off .In addition, our school’s badminton students Aryansh of Grade VII, Abhinav of Grade VII and Shubhashish of Grade IX has earned a commendable third place in a CBSE Cluster IV held at Lucknow Public School . This achievement reflects the team’s hard work, strategic gameplay, and sportsmanship. Excellia School organized the felicitation ceremony for the achievers on 31st May, 2024. The students who showcased exemplary performance in the board examination were felicitated by the Director 𝐌𝐫. 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐢 𝐌𝐚𝐮𝐫𝐲𝐚 was felicitated by the principal. Grade X school topper 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐡 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐫𝐚 bagged scholarship worth Rs.75000 for scoring 96% in Grade X. Every year 5th June is celebrated as World Environment Day. To observe this day and to shed light on the importance of the healthy environment and protect mother nature here students of classes 6, 7 and 8 have indulged themselves in poster making and spreading awareness among all.

The main festivals of India include 𝐃𝐢𝐰𝐚𝐥𝐢, 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐢, 𝐑𝐚𝐤𝐡𝐢, 𝐍𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐢, 𝐆𝐮𝐫𝐮 𝐏𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐦𝐚, 𝐊𝐡𝐮𝐛𝐡 𝐌𝐞𝐥𝐚, 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐯𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐢, 𝐆𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐡 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐢, and so on.

Today the students of class 2B discussed about topic - "𝐅𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬”. They elaborated about the importance of festival and how they are celebrated.

𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬-𝐎𝐧 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐈- 𝐀 & 𝐈 𝐁  𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐌𝐬. 𝐒𝐰𝐚𝐩𝐧𝐢𝐥 where in students had the opportunity to dive into the world of numbers in a playful and interactive way. The goal was to introduce the concept of addition in a way that is engaging and easy to understand for our young learners.

                  Investiture Ceremony at Excellia School

Excellia’s motto is to create leaders of tomorrow and there is a special ceremony that turns it into reality. For us, Investiture Ceremony is not just about providing titles, but about conferring responsibilities to the students, to take charge of the school and take it to the height they desire with their leadership and decision making skills, communication and teamwork.

At this ceremony, a school prefectorial board is formed after scrutinous interviewing and selection which gives them a feel of functioning of an official administrative body. Excellia School organised the investiture ceremony on 17th May, 2024. The names of office bearers are here as under:

The Principal Mrs Priyanka Dubey, Mentor Dr S.K. Mishra and Inspection Head Mrs Roli Pandey conferred the badges to the prefectorial body who later took oath to carry their duties with zeal and perseverance.  

Labour Day is a day when workers can feel respected for the work that they have done all over the year. This day can be a motivation for refining worker’s effort.

On this important day Excellia School honoured our helping staff with gifts. They enjoyed games and recreational activities. They put forward their talent and enjoyed the day and as a token of appreciation the management felicitated them with lovely gifts and ensured them for safe and healthy environment at workplace with a changing climate.

Yellow Mango Day 
"Shades of yellow stimulates our little ones with happiness, energy and optimism". 
With an objective to recapitulate and reinforce the effects of yellow colour.  The students of Pre- Primary wing of Excellia School celebrated "Yellow Mango Day" on 17th May, 2024. Children were not only beautifully dressed in their favourite yellow dresses but also kept yellow objects or eatable items to make it a complete "Yellow Day". 
Children enjoyed this activity and they were very happy when they did paper tearing and pasting on colouring sheet. Teachers (Ms. Anamika, Ms. Nidhi, Ms. Varsha & Ms. Chaitali ) were beaming with pride when the confident little commentators described the yellow objects with expressiveness, flair and ease. 
This celebration of "Yellow Mango Day" Activity engrossed the kids with the fine motor skills. They spent the day with utmost enjoyment.

MOTHERS DAY
Mom you are the most beautiful person I know - not just in your appearance, but in your heart and soul. Thank you for being such an amazing mothe .
The day that recognizes the essence of a mother, was celebrated in high spirits and merriment. This being one of those occasions that none of us can afford to miss was zealously enjoyed by one and all. Keeping this  emotional bond  in mind, the students of  pre-primary and primary section of Excellia School had a special celebration on 11May 2024 on Mother’s Day. Our pre primary teachers Ms. Anamika , Ms. Chaitali , Ms. Nidhi & Ms. Varsha  made an earnest effort to instill the importance of mother in child’s life through effective thematic presentations of music, dance and playful activities. The Principal Mrs. Priyanka Dubey and Head of Inspection cell Mrs. Roli Pandey enjoyed being the part of fun activites during Mother’s Day celebrations.

"Camp is a canvas where children paint their dreams, create life long memories and find the colours    of their true selves" 
Summer camp plays a pivotal role in the overall growth and development of the students. They learn various values and etiquettes that help them in the near future. They provide a break away from technology and gadgets. On 2nd day of "Camp Utopia 24" the students are enjoying fun filled activities and learnt things which were useful in everyday life. The students actively participated in Yoga Classes, Dance Classes, Gross - motor activities, play -n- fun games, canvas painting and many more activities. The techniques helped them develop their skills, knowledge and concentration.

Best out-of-waste simply means to make something innovative and attractive out of the material that is of no use otherwise, creating something new from the old. With DIY items made from waste, one can decorate their home. Anotherday  students decorated tomato sauce bottles into a beautiful planters.  They also  made  lanterns with plastic coldrink bottles. Students actively participated in Gross motor skills , non fire cooking , play & fun games , canvas painting, yoga classes , taekwando and many more activities.

A comprehensive workshop was conducted on 27th April 2024 covering the details of National Curriculum Framework on school education. The workshop was taken by the school mentor 𝐃𝐫 𝐒𝐊 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐫𝐚.  The detailed workshop covered every dimension of NCF which was concluded by short assessment of the teachers to ensure 𝐚𝐛𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐞𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐞 .

"यदि लेखक न होते तो हम सभी हिंदी साहित्य से अनभिज्ञ रह जाते l ये लेखक ही हैं जिनकी कलम की पैनी धार नित्य नए लेख , कहानियों और कविताओं का सृजन करती है l बच्चे भी इन लेखकों के जीवन से भली- भांति परिचित हों  इसके तहत 
आज एक्सीलिया स्कूल में "लेखक परिचय " इंटर हाउस प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया l कक्षा _ 6,7 और 8 के विद्यार्थियों ने बेहद उत्साह के साथ इसमें भाग लिया l
निर्णायक मंडल में उपस्थित हिंदी अध्यापिका श्रीमती रेखा वर्मा और श्रीमती शीला प्रसाद ने बच्चों का उत्साहवर्धन किया और कुछ सुझाव भी दिए l रमन हाउस की राखी शुक्ला, समृद्धि सिंह , टैगोर हाउस के आदित्य राठी और ज्वेल निगम के प्रयास काफी  सराहनीय रहे l

सूजा तामांग आशा की एक किरण एक समर्पित सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता, सूजा ने अथक रूप से सिक्किम के हाशिए के समुदायों की सेवा की है। उनके निस्वार्थ प्रयासों ने महिलाओं को सशक्त बनाया और बच्चों को शिक्षित कर के अनगिनत जीवन को बदल दिया है। इसी विषय पर
आज कक्षा 7th के बच्चों ने अपनी वाणी द्वारा उनके व्यक्तित्व को प्रस्तुत करने की कोशिश की है।
