Awards and recognitions have always been the moral enhancers for everyone as we all need motivation at some point of time in our lives. Everyone feels great for what they are doing and remain focussed towards their aim and strive hard to excel.
Excellia School also had the privilege when the Director Mr Asheesh Pathak, received the appreciation award by The Times of India Group, for the school’s significant contribution in the field of education.
The Education Warrior award was presented by Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Dr Dinesh Sharma on September 3rd.2021.
The recognition was given considering a few parameters which was surveyed by the Times Group to those who changed the face of education during the pandemic so as to inculcate students’ friendly approach and take teaching learning process to the higher realms. The survey consisted of the norms such as digitalised teaching learning process so that the education of the children was not hampered along with skill based approach. The school had always taken extra steps to ensure all round development of the students and enhance their skill sets and thus for that matter homes different academies for different sports like Gaurav Khanna Excellia Badminton Academy where the Paralympic players have managed their practice sessions even during the peak of pandemic when the school managed a bio-secure bubble for them. For cricket enthusiasts, the school has opened Abhijit Sinha Cricket Academy, along with Athletics ground, Lawn Tennis, Football, Table-Tennis to name a few.
Academics have always been the prima facie for the school’s aim and approach as the students are the reflections of what they learn at home away from home. Even during pandemic education did not take a back seat and the blended approach of teaching was adapted with new ways and means with which the teachers who have been the true warriors during the difficult times, managed to make teaching fun based learning for the school. The Director Mr Asheesh Pathak owed this to the true Education warrior’s i.e. the teachers and the Principal Mrs Sonia Vardhan who successfully managed the school’s performance during these testing times.

Badminton, just like any other physical sport, is extremely strenuous on the body. In badminton, nearly every part of our body is completely engaged at all times.
