“Freedom in the mind, strength in the words, pride in our souls, zeal in our hearts.”
Independence Day is the biggest festival of democracy for all the Indians. It is marked by a strong sense of patriotism across the country. It is celebrated just not to mark our freedom from the invaders who ruled the country for almost 200 years but also to celebrate each Indian’s right to live freely and enjoy all the constitutional rights that stand gloriously in the Constitution of India. It is the day to celebrate the diversity and sprawling cultures that we cherish and preserve. With this spirit, the Excellia School celebrated the Independence Day with great zeal and fervour. The celebrations began early in the morning with the flag hoisting by the Respected Chairman, Mr. D.S Pathak accompanied by the Director, Mr. Asheesh Pathak and Mrs. Shalini Pathak together with the Advisor, Mr. Praveen Pandey and the Principal, Mrs. Priyanka Dubey. This was followed by the National Anthem. The students expressed their feeling of patriotism through vibrant dance performances and soulful rendition of songs. The Principal, Mrs. Priyanka Dubey aptly said that the responsibilities come before needs. She motivated the students to become more aware of their responsibilities, be it at home, school or the nation as a whole. The celebrations concluded with the distribution of sweets among the students along with the remembrance of glorious sacrifice of our freedom fighters and a promise to maintain the spirit of brotherhood and peace for the future generations to come.
