Lohri is a popular winter Punjabi Folk Festival, celebrated primarily by Punjabis from the Punjab region of the northern part of the Indian subcontinent, on 13th January of every year.
All the students and staff members of Excellia School celebrated the occasion on 13th Jan’2020 by taking Puja Parikrama around the bonfire and distributed the Prasad to each other. While taking the Parikrama around theBonfire the students rendered the popcorns, peanuts along with other sweets with the belief to take out all the negativity from within and thanked god for all the prosperity bestowed to us.
A spirit of good-nature rivalry blinded all of us and we took pride in making the biggest and a grand bonfire.
“Let purity come, dirt depart. Dirt is uprooted and its roots cast in the fire”.
