“It’s not about the dress you wear, but the life you lead in the dress”
Aiming to imbibe experiential learning through fun activities and to make students confident about themselves, Fancy Dress and Ramp Walk Competition was organised for students from class I-IV and V-X respectively at Excellia School on 19th October 2019. The excellians were decked up in breath taking attires that left everyone gazing them in awe. Students from class I-IV were dressed up like their favourite personalities and walked the aisle looking smart and confident. They presented themselves wonderfully well and spoke up about the character they were portraying. The students from class V-X walked up the aisle and enthralled the students with their impressive attires. Everyone was dressed up to their best.
The Judges for Fancy Dress category Mrs Divya Tripathi and Mrs Subuhi Akhtar found it very difficult to choose the winners as every participant was looking extremely pleasing. Some of the students wore costumes like that of astronauts, some portrayed freedom fighters like Rani Laxmi Bai and Bhagat Singh. Judges of Ramp Walk category Mrs. Deepa Singh and Mrs Geeta Bhakuni were also speechless to see everyone presenting their best foot forward. However on the basis of the set parameters and criterion winners were declared and were felicitated with the certificates. Hiba Zehra Naqvi of Class II portrayed Dustbin to associate with Prime Minister’s Swachchata Abhiyan. Swetark of class III looked adorable in astronaut’s attire. Ananya Rashmi of Class IV presented the character of Rani Laxmi Bai and left everyone mesmerized with her oration of the character. Likewise all the participants left no stone unturned to present themselves beautifully. The Principal Mrs. Sonia Vardhan congratulated the winners and motivated the participants for showcasing their talent. She wished everyone well for their future endeavors.
